Financial Amortization Calculator lets you specify 3 of the 4 variables involved in amortization tables -- principle (loan amount), monthly payment, interest (annual), number of years of the loan - and calculate the missing amount. Another section indicates the remaining principle (loan balance unpaid after a specified number of payments. All calculations based on simple-interest calculations (used for home mortgages). (Does not use the "rule of 78s" common among car loans.) A new feature called a Uniform Draw-Down Calculator calculates how long an initial balance will last if you withdraw a fixed amount each month and the remaining balance earns interest. Freeware.
