SecureMedia is a high speed, portable encryption utility that allows the user to manufacturer their own "secure removable media." The application works on floppies, CD-R/RW disks, Zip, Jaz, LS120, HiFD and other forms of removable storage media. The encryption/decryption utility lives on the media, allowing the user to take the media to any computer that has a supported drive, and add/delete and encrypt/decrypt additional files. SecureMedia is a great tool for protecting sensitive information stored on removable media. It prevents inadvertent overwriting of important information. It also ensures files stored on removable media are only accessible to the individual that stored/saved them to the disk. A great use of SecureMedia is to create a master list of all logins and passwords associated with your PC and websites that you visit, save the file to a SecureMedia disk and encrypt the contents with a master password. Eliminate all the sticky notes you have with your Password logins and save them on a SecureMedia disk! SecureMedia uses a high speed, block encryption algorithm that is ideally suited for use on removable media. An extremely large key (448 bits) is used ­ ensuring protection of sensitive contents from available public domain decryption tools.
