The Internet Answering Machine occupies a small window on the user's computer screen while they are online. It displays incoming calls, plays messages and saves them for later. Once activated, callers no longer get busy signals when the user is online. Instead, they will hear a brief CallWave greeting and can leave a short message at the tone. The IAM will play the voice message over the computer's speakers or headphone. Just like with a home answering machine, IAM users will be able to playback, repeat, and delete voice messages.

Minimum requirements: The small installation program will register the service as well as set up the Internet Answering Machine. In addition, the software includes demos and simple instructions.
