Quickly locate table and field structure differences in Access databases.

MDB_Diff is a tool designed to quickly locate table structural differences between two Microsoft Access databases (*.mdb files). The structural differences analyzed include: table and field name changes, additions, and deletions; as well as changes to field types or field sizes. The user follows the intuitive wizard-like interface to select two Access databases to compare, then selects an output type and location for the three reports that are built. Users can also build an auto execution parameter file that will automatically fill in all paths and settings for command line execution. Reasons for using this tool include the items below plus more: - Rapidly locating client bugs by finding exact database version differences in the table and field structures. - Synchronizing test and development database structural versions (preclude false bugs due to old DB versions). - Quickly generating a list of structural changes to a database (old vs. new). - Track database structural stability over time with daily or weekly reports tracking change run automatically and saved away.

Minimum requirements: - Access 97 must be installed on the same machine on which you will install MDB_Diff - Windows 95/98 (Windows NT4 or later should also work) - Should have at least 32MB of RAM for Access to run fast, but can get by with less - Should have a Pentium or better, but a 486 will work content_stop
