Vircom's Proxy & Roaming RADIUS Server (PRRS) is a reliable and powerful server designed to meet the demanding requirements of today's ISPs. Running on WinNT4, VOP Radius packs many unique features like seamless integration with 5 major billing suites(Platypus, IBOB, Rodopi, Emerald and Worldgroup) along with multiple authentication datasources such as ODBC, NT SAM, Unix password files, or even text-file databases. It acts as a primary RADIUS server, but can also be used to drastically increase the reliability of your ISP setup by acting as backup server. A watchdog feature, called VOPWatch, further increases your reliability factor by constantly monitoring the status of the VOP Radius, restarting it when needed. Among other features, simultaneous logins can be monitored and log files can be analyzed, displayed, and printed using standard report software (e.g., Crystal report).
